Last night I received the news that one of our seniors, Ali Mink, passed away from cancer. Along with the rest of the Scituate community I am saddened by this news, as Ali was a bright and promising former student of mine.
In light of this news, the first quarter has been extended until 11/14 (mercredi, le 14 novembre) school wide and I have postponed all tests that were scheduled for today.
Students will now take the Quarter test on Tuesday (mardi, le 13 novembre). I have also communicated with my students to see me if they still do not feel mentally able to take the test on their assigned day and I will make special arrangements for them.
Also, any extra credit that was due today will now be due next Tuesday (mardi, le 13 novembre).
Rest in peace, Ali. You are so loved and will be sorely missed.
