Study Guide – French 3 Quarter Test Quarter One

The French 3 Quarter Test has the following parts:

1.     Listening.  You will have one section where you will be asked to identify people based on physical characteristics (See p. 36-37)

2.     Multiple Choice.  This will include items from the Reprise section of the French 3 textbook.  This will include

·        Adjectives (see p. 5)

·        Expressions with être, avoir, venir and faire (see p. R3)

·        Use of articles and partitives (see p. R6)

·        Direct and indirect objects (see p. R8 and R9)

·        Savoir and connaître (see p. R8 and R9)

3.     Verbs.  Here you will have to put verbs in passé composé or imparfait

(See p. R4 and R5)

4.     Reflexive verbs.  Here you will put verbs in present, passé composé and command forms (See pp. 44-45 and p. 50).  This section will also cover vocabulary words from p. 42.
